Our Team

Theresa Collins, the the Director of Operations at Empower Recovery Center, managing the daily operations of the facility as well as overseeing all the support staff within the facility. Theresa utilizes her extensive knowledge and experience to help with not only providing the best client care but also ensuring full state and insurance compliance. Theresa has worked in the substance use disorder field for more than 15 years, bringing a passionate, grounded, and realistic approach to supporting individuals in recovery. She holds an Associate’s degree from Palm Beach Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Midway University, and a Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling from Liberty University. Theresa is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in Pennsylvania and is currently working toward her Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) credential in New Jersey. Throughout her career, she has worked across all levels of care, from detox to outpatient serving communities in Philadelphia, Florida, and New Jersey. Theresa blends a 12-step and spiritual framework with solution-focused therapy, meeting clients exactly where they are and empowering them to take an active role in their recovery. She believes that strong leadership and genuine passion are essential to creating treatment environments that foster meaningful, life-changing outcomes. Theresa views the Empower team as uniquely skilled and deeply committed to individualized care, and she is proud to have been part of the organization since its opening in October 2024.
